How It Works

Your table. Your way. We'll guide you every step.

Step 1

It Starts With a Conversation

Every PDX Woodworks table begins the same way, with a conversation. Tell us about your space, your style, and what you're looking for. There are no wrong answers here. Whether you come in with a clear vision or just a vague sense that you want something better than what you've found, we'll help you get there.

Step 2

Choose Your Wood

Our go-to woods are Pacific Maple, Cherry, White Oak, and Black Walnut, but we work with a range of American domestic hardwoods. Don't see what you're looking for? Just ask.

All base pricing listed is based on the pacific maple.

Step 3

Size and Shape

Your table should fit your home, not the other way around. Every piece we make is a starting point, not a finished decision. Dressers, drawers, shelves, dimensions — any aspect of any piece can be adjusted to suit your space, your storage needs, and the way you actually live.

Most tables can also be made as extension tables.

Step 4

Pick Your Finish

Our standard finish is a time-tested oil and wax — durable, natural, and beautiful. We'll help you find the finish that's right for the wood, your home, and your lifestyle.

Step 5

We Get to Work.

Once the details are locked in, we build. We build one table at a time, which means yours gets our full attention from start to finish. We'll keep you in the loop along the way, because this is your piece as much as ours.

Step 6

Delivery and Beyond

When your table is ready, we'll coordinate delivery and setup. And we don't disappear after the build, if you ever have questions about care, maintenance, or want to add a piece to your home down the road, we're always here.
